In today's article, I would like to address all of you single mothers and fathers out there.
I hear many songs on the radio and movies on television that address the hardships of single parenting and dating. I also have a few friends who are single parents like myself.
To satisfy my curiosity and that of the other readers, I am asking that some of you single mothers and fathers who are on the dating scene ponder and respond to the questions below.
Do you find that it is difficult to date as a single mother or father?
Are men and women turned off when they discover that you have a child?
How long do you date before introducing your child to the mate?
When do you tell the person that you have a child?
Do you ever take you child on a date with you?
How does your child affect your taste or opinions in mates?
Would you break off a good relationship because your child did not like the mate?
DATING IS NOT HARD WHEN BEING A SINGLE PARENT IS JUST A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. YOU HAVE TO PAY BABYSITTER TO GO OUT. NOT ONLY WITH A MATE BUT WITH FRIENDS. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY A SITTER, IT CAN BE VERY HARD TO DATE.
ReplyDeleteIF A MAN HAS GOOD INTENTIONS TOWARDS YOU, HE WILL LOVE YOU AND YOUR KIDS.
A PERSON SHOULD WAIT AND SEE IF THE RELATIONSHIP IS SERIOUS BEFORE INTRODUCING THE CHILD. YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILDREN MEETING MANY MAN. CHILDREN GET ATTACHED TO PEOPLE EASILY. IF YOUR CHILD IS USE TO SEING THIS PERSON AND THIS PERSON LEAVES AT ANY POINT IN THEIR LIFE, IT MAY CAUSE EMOTIONAL HARM TO THE CHILD. IT CAN BE AS IF CHILD LOST HIS OR HER DAD TWICE. CHILD MIGHT GET THE IDEA THAT EVERY FATHER FIGURE WOULD LEAVE THEM.
UNLESS YOU WANT CHAOS DO NOT TAKE A CHILD ON A DATE. IT WONT BE A DATE IF YOU GO WITH YOUR CHILD. IM NOT SAYING YOU SHOULDNT GO OUT WITH KIDS AND YOUR PARTNER. YOU CAN GO OUT WITH THE KIDS IF THE RELATIONSHIP IS SERIOUS BUT THIS OUTING IS NOT CONSIDER A DATE. A DATE IS ONLY FOR YOU AND YOUR PARTNER TO ENJOY.
YOU TELL A PERSON YOU HAVE A CHILD AS SOON AS YOU MEET THEM.
A FEW QUESTIONS FOR FIRST DATE. ARE YOU MARRIED? DO YOU HAVE KIDS? ARE YOU HOMELESS? DO YOU HAVE A JOB? LOL.. J/K
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PICK WHO YOU DATE. THIS IS WHY CHILDREN ARE INTRODUCE TO THE MATE ONCE A RELATIONSHIP IS CONSIDER SERIOUS.
YOU SHOULD NOT BREAK A GOOD RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE A CHILD DOESNT LIKE YOUR MATE. MOST CHILDREN WILL NOT LIKE YOUR PARTNER BECAUSE THEY SEE IT AS IF THIS PERSON IS TAKING DADS PLACE. THE MATE IN TIME WILL GAIN YOUR CHILDS LOVE.

No. As long one understands the situation and comfortable go for it...

Initially, yes. Not because of the child, however with the domestic drama that would stress the relationship further. Assuming that it does not..then the situation is going to work out...
